Northampton University UK Scholarships

Northampton University Logo The University of Northampton is a lively and ambitious, medium-sized institution which has been located on its attractive parkland campus in Northampton for over 25 years, and involved in the town’s education for nearly a century.  It is based on two sites some 2 miles apart and a free bus service runs between the two campuses. A £65 million investment programme over the last 8 years has ensured that our facilities are of the highest possible standards. This development has included new teaching facilities, student facilities and on-campus Halls of Residence with 1,632 single study rooms, the majority of which have en-suite facilities.

The University is home to some 7,000 full-time students and 3,000 part-time students. It is large enough to offer a wide range of top quality modern facilities, but at the same time, small enough to retain a friendly atmosphere in which students feel they are an important part of a community.

Formerly known as University College Northampton, we were awarded University title and full research degree awarding powers at the end of August 2005.  This development came after several years of extensive work by staff across the institution and is recognition of the high standards achieved by the institution.  Our new title and status will add to the prestige of our graduates, further improving their future employment prospects or plans for additional study.

International Scholarship Scheme

We are committed to widening participation in Higher Education, particularly for international students.  To this end we have established a scholarship scheme which provides financial support for international students with a strong academic background.  Students who are awarded a University of Northampton International Scholarship will receive a reduction of up to 25% on their tuition fees.
